Meet the CCCB Board

Gary Morgan, a past President of Rotary, is the Chair of the Community Care Centre Board. Being a trained Forester, he held numerous regional land management roles before becoming Chief Fire Officer for 9 years when, in 2000, he initiated and established the multi-national firefighting assistance from Australia and New Zealand to the USA.

After leaving government he became CEO of the Australian and New Zealand Bushfire Cooperative Research Centre before establishing his own national and international consultancy business. Gary is the Chair of the Ministerial Advisory Panel for the Office of Bushfire Risk Management and remains on national forest fire management committees. Recently for the Rotary Foundation, he provided technical forest fire management advice and training for Portugal.

Gary strongly believes that those of us who have been fortunate to have been given wonderful opportunities in life may now through the CCCB provide an opportunity for those less fortunate to take a step forward in their lives.
